The police arrested several activists from student organisations for staging a dharna in front of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao's camp office in Begumpet and moved them to different police stations.
Several student organisations launched agitations demanding a reduction in the private schools fees and also implement the KG to PG scheme for poor students.
Tension prevailed at the CM’s camp office when they tried to barge into the CM's office. However, police foiled their attempts and took them into custody. They were shifted to a nearby police station and released later.
