KCR not bothered about tribals: Ponguleti

Hyderabad: Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has demanded that the TRS government call Assembly session to discuss the Pranahitha-Chevella project design change. Speaking to the media at the Assembly media point here on Monday, Ponguleti said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had changed the design of the Pranahitha-Chevella project from Thummidihatti to Kaleshwaram showing the reason that 14 villages of Maharashtra would be submerged under the project. “But the same KCR is not bothered about the three lakh tribal people who will be displaced due to Polavaram project. He is also not bothered about the seven mandals being excluded from Telangana State,” he alleged.
