Hyderabad: TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that TRS party was trying to suppress the Congress party in the State. He asserted that some of the leaders, who enjoyed party positions with the mercy of high command, have left the party shamelessly.

Addressing the NSUI and Youth Congress Sammelan here on Sunday, Uttam said that undemocratic rule was going on at the State and Central governments. He alleged that the TRS was inducing the Congress leaders to join their party by threatening them with falsehood cases. The TRS government was hatching conspiracy to suppress the media to cover up its mistakes, Uttam Kumar said.

The TPCC chief further said: “The party will give priority to NSUI and Youth Congress activists and assured that key positions will be given to Youth Congress leaders after party coming to power in 2019. He asked the NSUI and Youth Congress leaders to take up ‘Nirudyoga Garjana’ to mount pressure on government.”

He also said that All India Alumni Leaders of NSUI and Youth Congress will organise a huge rally in Hyderabad on August 30 and AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi may attend the meeting. TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka went on to say that KCR’s family was looting the Telangana State.

KCR failed to fulfill even a single assurance made during the elections, he said. He called on NSUI and Youth Congress activists to work hard and make the Congress party win the GHMC elections and Warangal by-elections. He made it clear that the NSUI and Youth Congress leaders who would work actively for the sake of party will get priority in the party in future.

Opposition leader in the Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir has alleged that the former PCC Chief Dr K Keshav Rao who looked like a tiger being in Congress party, turned into a cat after joining TRS Party. Secunderabad former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav alleged that both Srinivas and Keshav Rao who enjoyed high positions in the party deceived Congress and joined TRS.
