The name of AP express which runs between Hyderabad and New Delhi, has been changed officially to ‘Telangana Express’ It may be recalled here that Telangana Chief Minister KCR had requested the railway ministry to change the name of AP express to Telangana express.

The south-central railway on Thursday declared that it has replaced the suffix of the AP Express with the name of the Telangana state. Recently, union Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu demanded that a new AP Express be introduced between Visakhapatnam and New Delhi.
