Rahul's holy dip in Godavari Pushkaralu can cleanse Congress sins: Kavitha
Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi should take a holy dip in the Godavari during the Pushkaralu, said Telangana Rashtra Samiti MP K. Kavita said on Friday. The TRS MP stated that by doing so, Congress’ sins during its 10-year rule in the state will be cleansed.

Stating that during the Congress rule, farmers suffered the most and committed suicide due to its lackadaisical policies, MP Kavitha said that there was no use of the Bharosa Yatra the Congress is conducting for farmers in AP and Telangana without cleansing the party’s sins from its previous rule.
Ms Kavita had taken the holy dip at the Pushkar Ghat on Friday and stated that the state government had made the Godavari Maha Pushkaralu a success with crores of people taking the holy dip at various Pushkar Ghats in TS. She added that the last day of the Pushkaralu on Saturday would see extra rush and told officials to ensure all facilities to the pilgrims.
