Krishnaiah demands funds for BC welfare

He sounded the bugle during the Round Table conference held with representatives from the State and Central BC welfare organisations here on Saturday. The day’s agenda revolved around the welfare and betterment of the Backwards Classes.The conference saw the participation of prominent BC leaders, professors and presidents of 80 employee organisations.
They unanimously demanded that inclusion of the creamy layer proposed by Justice V Eswaraiah should be rejected and forthwith suspension of its implementation. They called for quota in promotions besides implementing the proposals of the EM Sudarsana Natchiappan's committee.
