Waterworks to increase bulk supplies

Hyderabad: The HMWSSB (Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board) will be increasing the bulk supplies to apartments and enclaves. It decided to lay pipelines in 50 new colonies in different parts of City. During a review meeting of waterworks held at Khairthabad office on Tuesday, it was proposed to take up five new reservoirs at Mallapur, near Nacharam. It also took a decision to replace old pipelines with new and to provide feeder lines, trunk lines and valves for them. The funds for this would be mobilised from Central and State governments.
