In an attempt to promote people friendly policing and reach out to the youth, Warangal Police Commissionerate has conducted a cricket tournament. The three-day tournament called “Warangal Police Commissionerate Cricket Cup-2015” was conducted on a grand scale by the Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu at police parade grounds in Hanamkonda on Saturday.About 150 teams took part in the limited-overs event.

Warangal: In an attempt to promote people friendly policing and reach out to the youth, Warangal Police Commissionerate has conducted a cricket tournament. The three-day tournament called “Warangal Police Commissionerate Cricket Cup-2015” was conducted on a grand scale by the Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu at police parade grounds in Hanamkonda on Saturday.About 150 teams took part in the limited-overs event.
Speaking on the occasion the Police Commissioner said that in the days to come training programmes would be conducted for the select youth aspiring to appear for police recruitment tests. On the occasion the sportsmen and police conducted marched fast and displayed a 10 metre wide and 1.5 kilometre long national flag at the parade grounds. Senior police officials M Yadaiah, Surendranath, Shoban Kumar, Janardhan, and others were present.
