A few hours after the Suicide prevention was launched, it received a call from a youngster. A 25-year-old youth from Nalgonda called up and said that he wanted to commit suicide because of love failure.
The counsellor tried to pacify him and connected the call to Telangana Health Minister Laxma Reddy.
The minister convinced the youth against taking any extreme step and asked him to meet him at the Secretariat.
