The families of the farmers who committed suicides will be getting the support of Telangana TDP as they stage dharnas before all district collectorates, Secretariat and the CM’s Camp Office.
The families of the farmers who committed suicides will be getting the support of Telangana TDP as they stage dharnas before all district collectorates, Secretariat and the CM’s Camp Office.
Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma at the Secretariat on Friday received a memorandum from the delegation of TTDP leaders led by E Dayakar Rao and A Revanth Reddy. The memorandum submitted insisted that the Telangana state government should send one minister to assess the situation on drought and on farmers’ suicides in each district.
Alleging that the state government was trying to portray farmers suicides for other reasons, Dayakar Rao and Revanth Reddy said that they would request the Centre to provide ex gratia to the families of the farmers who committed suicides.
