The Police on Tuesday arrested BJP state president Kishan Reddy and several other leaders when they tried to march towards the Secretariat from Indira park demanding the State Government to celebrate Telangana Liberation day on September 17.
Tension prevailed in the area for sometime as the BJP leaders resisted the police attempts to arrest them. They attempted to storm the secretariat, but the police foiled their bid.
