T TDP leaders discuss strategy with Naidu

• Leaders meet party chief N Chandrababu Naidu at his camp office on the banks of the river Krishna
• Meeting took place as TS Assembly may meet shortly

Vijayawada: Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu here on Tuesday held discussions with the party leaders from Telangana on the strategy to be adopted in regard to Warangal Lok Sabha byelection. They also focused attention on forthcoming elections to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

The T TDP leaders came to the city to meet Naidu as he stayed put in Vijayawada for fortnight. The leaders are understood to have briefed their party leader of developments in the State and sought his guidance. The meeting took place in the backdrop of likelihood of Assembly session shortly.

TDP MP from Malkajgiri Ch Malla Reddy told reporters that that Naidu had reviewed the functioning of the T TDP and gave directions on some important issues. He accused the TRS government of targeting the T TDP leaders because the latter had been exposing the “misdeeds of the government,” he said. The T TDP legislators would question government on spate of suicides by farmers, he said.

The party leaders Errabelli Dayakar, A Revanth Reddy, Uma Madhava Reddy, Nama Nageswara Rao, Mandava Venkateswara Rao, Ramesh Rathod, E Peddi Reddy, Maganti Gopinath, Arikapudi Gandhi, Seethakka, Vivek and others met Naidu at his camp office.
