The Telangana Assembly was adjourned on the third day by Speaker Madhusudhana Chary amidst the opposition leaders wanting further discussion on farmers' suicides. The opposition parties blamed the state government for adjourning the Assembly to Monday within ten minutes of the session on Thursday.
The opposition parties - Congress, TDP, BJP, CPM and CPI staged protest at Gunpark in Hyderabad against the government for ignoring the issue of farmers. The opposition legislators stated that the protest will continue until an official announcement is made on the farmers' issue.
