Hyderabad: The Telangana State government employees, after a wait of 18 months, have decided to convene a protest against the Centre with regard to distribution of employees. The Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers’ Association (TNGOs) has decided to convene a dharna at Dharna Chowk soon.

The meeting would focus mainly on the burning issue of distribution of State cadre post employees. Till date, only 58,000 posts have been under the exercise of distribution.

The extension of Kamalanathan Committee’s term has further created anxiety among the employees of Telangana as most of the decisions are based on the final allocation of employees to the two States. The Telangana employees feel that much injustice and violation has been done in appointments of District, Zonal and Multi Zonal cadre.

There was unanimous thought that the problem of distribution would be solved once both the Chief Ministers of AP and Telangana sit together and search for an amicable solution.
