TRS treating bypoll as referendum on its rule
If Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari’s words are anything to go by, TRS is treating Warangal by-elections as a referendum on its 16-month rule. He stated that public would assess the good work done by the TRS government in the new State and cast their vote in the upcoming by-election.

Kadiyam also dared the BJP to accept the upcoming Bihar elections or 2015 New Delhi elections where it was routed by AAP, as a referendum on its rule at the Centre. Speaking to reporters after a party meeting on the by-poll, Kadiyam stated that public at the ground level were still with the pink party and that they would ensure a victory with a big majority in the election.
“It amazes me how come Congress and TDP, which were finding it difficult to field a candidate, are going out all guns blazing at the ruling party in the run up to the election,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Minister informed that party president K Chandrashekar Rao has appointed one minister each to all the seven assembly segments falling under the Warangal Parliament constituency. Eatala Rajender (Parakala), Harish Rao (Warangal-East), K Taraka Rama Rao (Warangal-West), G Jagdish Reddy (Palakurthy), Pocharam Srinivas Reddy (Bhupalpally), A Indrakaran Reddy (Station Ghanpur) and Jogu Ramannna (Wardhannapet) will the incharges.
Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao will take part in electioneering either on November 17 or 18, he added. A meeting will be held in Telangana Bhavan on November 1 where leaders from the seven assembly segments of Warangal parliamentary constituency will take part.
