TDP picks candidate for Sanathnagar seat
TDP picks candidate for Sanathnagar seat. Telangana TDP on Friday declared party senior leader K Venkatesh Goud as the party candidate for Sanathnagar Assembly constituency for which the by-election will held once the long pending resignation of the State Commercial Taxes Minister T Srinivas Yadav is accepted.
Hyderabad: Telangana TDP on Friday declared party senior leader K Venkatesh Goud as the party candidate for Sanathnagar Assembly constituency for which the by-election will held once the long pending resignation of the State Commercial Taxes Minister T Srinivas Yadav is accepted. Yadav, who won the seat on TDP ticket in 2014 election, joined the TRS last year and was inducted in the state cabinet.
Participating in a meeting, the party President L Ramana asked the party cadre to give a befitting lesson to Yadav for shifting loyalties to the TRS after enjoying minister posts and power in the TDP.
He called on the party leaders to prepare for the ensuing GHMC election under the leadership of Goud in the constituency and strengthen the party. Ramana suggested the leaders maintain close relations with voters and raise people’s issues at every platform .
