Hyderabad: The Commercial Taxes Department on Saturday claimed that the revenue collection had registered a growth rate of 18.03 per cent compared to last year. “The Revenue collection up to the month of September this year was Rs 15,895 crores.
The revenue collection during the same period last year was Rs 13,467 crores. Therefore, there is an increase in revenue collection by Rs 2,428 crores with a growth rate of 18.03 per cent.
“The department is seeking cooperation of all tax payers under various Acts to pay the tax due along with arrears immediately and thereby achieve higher revenue mobilisation which will help the State government to achieve ‘Bangaru Telangana’,” the Commercial Taxes Commissioner said.
