Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao ordered a CID probe into the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) after reports surfaced that the funds were claimed by submitting fake medical treatment bills towards many health complications and disorders.
The Government received a large scale of complaints that the CMRF funds are being siphoned by some private and corporate hospitals in connection with officials leading to the development of the probe taking place.
