Telangana Finance Minister Etela Rajender reacted strongly against Central government for pressurizing cotton farmers. He lashed out at the Centre for not increasing minimum support price to Rs 5,000 and said that the CCI centres purchased only 5 percent cotton from farmers.
Stating that the Telangana government waived Rs 17,000 crore farm loans in order to support the farmers in financial debts, the Finance Minister said that the opposition parties are finding fault with the TRS government instead of the Centre.
