One-year-old falls into borewell, Rescue Operations begin

A one-year-old boy identified as Rakesh fell into an open borewell in Pulkal mandal, Medak district at about 7:00 AM. on Saturday.

Within an hour, Police and rescue teams reached the spot and commenced rescue operations. Also, a medical team is administering oxygen in to the borewell with an ambulance. As the borewell is of depth 30 ft, another pit is being dug beside the borewell in order to reach the boy. The incident is said to have occured due to the top of the failed borewell not being sealed.
