BJP seeks winter Assembly session immediately

Hyderabad: The Telangana unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday demanded the State government to convene the winter Assembly session immediately in order to discuss the public issues.

BJP legislative floor leader in the State Assembly K Laxman asked the Telangana government to hold winter Assembly session as there were several public issues like farmer suicides, unemployment, regularisation of contract workers, drinking water scarcity, law and order situation and several other failures in implementation of welfare schemes.

The BJP leader also demanded to hold the Assembly session for longer period, unlike the previous session, to discuss each and every public issue.
