Warangal: The Telangana Private Junior Colleges Managements’ Association (TPJCMA) on Saturday represented to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Deputy CM K Srihari to scrap the jumbling system in the Intermediate practical examination, as it has been done away with elsewhere in the country.

While backing the demand, president of the association V Narender Reddy pointed out that it was unfair to punish 90 per cent of the students in an effort to correct only ten per cent mistakes. He said the present set-up of the Inter Board of examiners and DOs was doing a good job.

Reddy stated that the jumbling system was not required for Inter practical exam which has low marks—six per cent in MPC and 12 per cent in BPC. Whereas in the case of engineering, BSc and SSC the marks were 40%, 30% and 20% respectively.
