Peddapalli (Karimnagar): A snake fell from a tree on a girl student, who was waiting in the queue for mid-day meal under the tree at Sabbitham Upper Primary School in Peddapalli division on Saturday.
According to School staff, IV class student Thigala Anjali along with other students was waiting in a queue for mid-day meal under a big tree located in the school premises.
The snake, which was on the tree, fell on the girl. The panic-struck other students ran away and the snake bite the girl while she was trying to throw it away. The School staff informed the girl’s parents who rushed her to Peddapalli government hospital where she was undergoing treatment. Her condition was stated to critical.
