Talasani assures steps to improve libraries in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has said that the State government is taking steps to streamline the functioning of libraries in Hyderabad.

Speaking to media persons at the State Secretariat on Saturday, Srinivas Yadav said he would visit all the libraries in the city to study the condition prevailing in them.

He agreed that the city libraries were in a bad condition due to continuous negligence by the previous regimes. He said officials were asked to submit a report within 10 days on the steps to be taken to improve their conditions.
