As part of the ‘Brand Hyderabad’ campaign, IT and Panchayat Raj Minister K T Rama Rao on Tuesday addressed the public mostly comprising of people in and around the IT corridor at Shilparamam.
Hyderabad: As part of the ‘Brand Hyderabad’ campaign, IT and Panchayat Raj Minister K T Rama Rao on Tuesday addressed the public mostly comprising of people in and around the IT corridor at Shilparamam.
The address centered on the TRS government’s projects such as Mission Kakatiya, solid waste management, meeting the power needs and the industrial policy.
Laced with anecdotes and interactions with politicians and administrators, Rama Rao tried to woo the IT-employees gathered at the venue.
Terming the Telangana government’s industrial policy as the best in the world, Rama Rao said three factors had made the policy better than most.
Under the Self Certification Scheme, investors who come with Rs 200 crore or who can provide employment to 1,000 people would automatically get clearance within 15 days. “If the investor does not hear from the government within 15 days, the government would be liable to penal action,” he said.
