As many as 41 Scouts and Guides of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) are participating in the five-day Jamboree being organised at Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh.

Khammam: As many as 41 Scouts and Guides of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) are participating in the five-day Jamboree being organised at Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh. In all, 10,600 Scouts and Guides are taking part in the Jamboree, which was inaugurated by the Chhattisgarh Governor Balram Das Tandon on Tuesday.

The participants will demonstrate their skills in camp crafts, March past, pioneering project, band display, physical display, community service, adventure and cultural activities. The 41-member squad of Singareni includes boys from Swarnabharati, Suryodaya High schools, Sarada Vidyalaya, Gowtham Model Techno school, Chaitanya Techno school and EK Vidyalaya of Kothagudem, Mandamarri Carmel school and Singareni school of Srirampur.

The squad is led by Singareni District Scouts organiser P Sai Niranjan. The squad also includes Scout masters K Sampath Kumar, J Kutumba Rao, P Raj Kumar and Sk Sajid.
