Ram temple hundi collects 80 lakh

Bhadrachalam (Khammam): The officials of Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy temple here counted the hundi collection on Friday.

Executive Officer Jyoti supervised the counting.

The devotees dropped 75 grams of gold, 1100 grams silver, in addition to the cash, she said.

The devotees also dropped 104 US dollars, ten Kuwait Dirhams, 40 South African rand, three Malaysian ringits, and 50 Saudi Riyals.

This is the revenue from the main hundi in the temple and the rest of the hundis would be counted tomorrow, the EO said.
