Hyderabad: TDP-BJP combine seem to have come to a broad understanding over sharing of seats for the GHMC elections. A top source in BJP told The Hans India that the TDP may contest in about 80 divisions while the BJP may put up candidates in 70 divisions.
The BJP leader admitted that the TDP has a strong base in divisions in city outskirts like Kukatpally, Serlingampally, LB Nagar and Vanasthalipuram with their sitting MLAs in the respective constituencies. A final call would be taken on Tuesday after discussing with TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu.
The BJP leader further stated that the BJP-TDP combine was confident of winning at least 100 seats in the GHMC election.
