Hyderabad: Telangana TDP on Monday complained to the Governor ESL Narasimhan that the TS Ministers, TRS MLAs and leaders were threatening the Opposition leaders and also media representatives. The delegation led by party general secretary R Chandrasekhar Reddy submitted a memorandum and sought his immediate intervention.

The party leaders said that the suspicious death of Republic Party of India candidate T Satyam, who lost to TRS MLA A Jeevan Reddy from Patancheru Assembly Constituency in 2014 election, raised many doubts. Satyam had been fighting legally against Reddy for not mentioning a bank default case pending against him in Dubai in the affidavit filed during nomination.

He was killed in a road accident when Reddy’s brother hit the Satyam with a tipper on Sunday. The TDP leader urged Governor to order a probe into the whole episode. The delegation also brought to the notice of the Governor the spate of threats received by the officials from TRS Ministers, MLAs and leaders.

The officials and media persons were threatened by State Energy Minister G Jagadishwar Reddy for raising objections on unabated illegal sand mining and the sand mafia’s highhandedness in Minister’s native district in Nalgonda, TDP leaders said.
