New Medak DFO takes charge

Sangareddy: Almost a month after DFO Shivani Dogre was transferred to Kamareddy in Nizamabad district, Sridhar Rao took charge as the new DFO of Medak district since Monday evening.

With people’s representatives in the district being miffed with the way Haritha Haram, forest protection, developmental sche mes and land acquisition for Mission Bharigatha were being handled by the Forest Department and due to high financial irregularities in forest conservation works,

the government is believed to have taken this decision. Some Forest Range Officers falling into the net of ACB worsened the situation.
