Karimnagar: Finance and Civil Supplies Minister Eatala Rajender said that the educated youth from the Telangana State were unable to secure Central government jobs due to the lack of proper awareness. They were unable to clear the competitive examinations successfully, he lamented.

He inaugurated the Group-II coaching programme for the second batch by the district administration under the aegis of the Vaaradhi Society at Collectorate here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Eatala Rajender said, “The talented youth are getting high salaries in the private sector where there are 90 to 95 percent job opportunities. There is a better future for skilled youth in national and international private companies,” he added.

The Minister said that there were number of job opportunities in various Central government departments. While the youth belonging to North-eastern states were able to secure Central government jobs, there was a meagre presence of youth from the Telangana State, the Minister lamented.

Earlier, he inaugurated Telangana State Scheduled Castes Study Circle in the town. The Minister has assured to take measures to convert all government hostels into residential schools. He also promised to upgrade all schools having strength of 400 into residential schools and asked the officials to send proposals in this regard. All government schools would get infrastructure and other basic facilities by June this year, he stated.

Appreciating the district administration for giving coaching with qualified faculty members, the Finance Minister said that the coaching by Vaaradhi would help the unemployed to appear for all the competitive exams of the State and Central governments.

Rajender said that nothing was impossible if the youth have strong will power to achieve a target. Without hard work, it is not possible to reach goals, he said.
District Collector Neetu Kumari Prasad said that a total of 600 students including 350 men and 250 women would get coaching for three months.

Experienced faculty members from Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Nalgonda, Warangal, Nizamabad and Karimnagar were roped in to impart coaching to youth, she added.
