KTR accepts additional responsibility of municipal administration
With the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls reaching its final lap, the TRS party campaign is being vigorously held by Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao ahead of the polling that is to be conducted on February 2.

Touring all the divisions through the road shows, KTR even challenged that he would resign if TRS doesn't win the Mayor post in the GHMC elections. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday at the election meeting in the city announced the additional charge of Municipal Affairs will be given to his son KTR as he understood the problems of the people in Hyderabad.
KTR on Sunday accepted the responsibility of the municipal administration and said the is glad to take over the responsibility. Stating that his interaction with the people in the city in past few months helped him understand the real issues, the Minister said that he will strive to resolve all their problems.
