The Kamareddy police conducted raids on animal debris oil manufacturing unit at Dharmaraopet of Sadashiv Nagar Mandal in the district on Tuesday and seized nearly 20  barrels of animal oil and arrested four persons. Acting swiftly on information provided bv reliable sources, Kamareddy police  conducted raids under the supervision of Kamareddy (Rural) Circle Inspector of Police.

Kamareddy: The Kamareddy police conducted raids on animal debris oil manufacturing unit at Dharmaraopet of Sadashiv Nagar Mandal in the district on Tuesday and seized nearly 20 barrels of animal oil and arrested four persons. Acting swiftly on information provided bv reliable sources, Kamareddy police conducted raids under the supervision of Kamareddy (Rural) Circle Inspector of Police G. Koteshwar Rao on the bone oil manufacturing unit.

During the raids, the police found more than 20 oil barrels, which were filled with bone oil, several vessels and lot of animal debris. In these raids, the police seized nearly 5,000 litres of animal oil and arrested four persons working in the animal oil manufacturing unit.

The land belongs to a Congress leader and former sarpanch Mohinuddin and they are involved in the making of animal oil using bones and exporting it at various places in Hyderabad, Nizamabad and the surrounding areas in Kamareddy for using them in bakeries and hotels. Police registered a case against the oil manufacturing unit and took up investigation.
