The Hyderabad Central University (HCU) students who kicked off a bus tour on February 10 demanding justice to Dalit scholar Rohith Vemula who committed suicide, concluded the tour at Andhra University on Wednesday.
The Hyderabad Central University (HCU) students who kicked off a bus tour on February 10 demanding justice to Dalit scholar Rohith Vemula who committed suicide, concluded the tour at Andhra University on Wednesday. The students toured various universities in both Telugu states with several student unions lending their support in the week-long bus tour.
The students are demanding the government to hasten the inquiry in the case and punish the culprits. Also, Chalo Delhi programme is scheduled on February 20 where they would protest against the injustice meted by the Central government to Rohith.
