Chada slams TRS for pruning election period
In an unabashed manner the TRS party inducted leaders like Errabelli Dayakar Rao who vehemently opposed them at every given opportunity, Reddy pointed out. He alleged that TRS is not only using its money power but also misusing the government machinery to lure or threaten the leaders of the Opposition parties.
Khammam: CPI Telangana state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy said the days are not far away for the ruling TRS party to get a slap on its face from the people for its anti-people policies.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, he said that the government has thrown all norms to the wind and indulging in all kinds of undemocratic acts to win the elections.
“The government modified the election rules and pruning the election period so that the Opposition is denied time,” Reddy alleged, accusing the TRS of taking undue advantage of it.
He said that since the TRS came to power, its leadership was trying to strengthen the party by unethical ways like encouraging defection of leaders from other parties.
