As the unemployed are staging protests over filling up 1 lakh vacant government posts, Telangana TDP Working President Revanth Reddy extended solidarity with them.

Speaking at a public meeting at Osmania University campus in Hyderabad organised by students, the Telangana Opposition party leader Revanth Reddy stated that no government has withstood the students power of University while TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the unemployment issue is not being allowed to be raised by the ruling TRS government in TS Assembly.

Revanth Reddy also criticized the TS government on the drought situation in the state and added that prominence is given to other issues, thus wasting the time of TS Assembly session. Pointing out that the Telangana government adjourned the House without providing an appropriate explanation on prevailing drought situation in the state, Revanth Reddy demanded Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to elaborate the measures in Assembly that are being taken to prevent drought.
