NSUI Foundation Day celebrated
The National Students Union of India (NSUI), a frontal organisation of Congress, celebrated its 45th foundation day at Sanjeeva Reddy Bhavan here on Saturday.
Khammam: The National Students Union of India (NSUI), a frontal organisation of Congress, celebrated its 45th foundation day at Sanjeeva Reddy Bhavan here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, district NSUI president Yadlapalli Santosh recalled that the Union, which was founded by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1971, has been working for the welfare of the students, besides producing many a great leader. He lauded the efforts of national leadership for conducting direct elections for the Union’s office bearers’ right from the district level to the national level.
District general secretary Ajay Rathod, Sandeep, Sai Bhargav and Dilip were present at the meeting. Earlier, the NSUI flag was hoisted on the premises of the Congress Bhavan.
