Khammam: New Vision Junior College has bagged several prestigious ranks like 288, 251, 237, 219, 218 and 217 in the IIT-JEE Mains results, which were released on Wednesday.
Out of 107 students that appeared for the JEE, 50 students got selected in the open category, seven in OBC category and two in ST category, said College Chairman C H G K Prasad.
Stating that getting 59 candidates selected in the JEE was unprecedented in the history of Telugu states, he attributed the success to the planned curriculum drawn up with the help of experienced faculty members.
