Former Sircilla MLA Chennamaneni Rajeswara Rao breathed his last in the early hours of Monday. Having served as an MLA of Sircilla Assembly Constituency, Rajeswara Rao was elected 6 terms to Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and actively took part in anti-Nizam Telangana armed struggle.

Former Sircilla MLA Chennamaneni Rajeswara Rao breathed his last in the early hours of Monday. Having served as an MLA of Sircilla Assembly Constituency, Rajeswara Rao was elected 6 terms to Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and actively took part in anti-Nizam Telangana armed struggle. He was associated with communist party initially and joined TDP later and was working lately with the TRS party representing Sircilla Constituency.

It is learnt that Rajeswara Rao had been unwell for a long time and was being treated in a private hospital. Aged 93, Rajeswara Rao passed away in the hospital on Monday. Condolences poured in for the Freedom fighter as YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that Chennamaneni was a great leader of Telangana armed struggle and an epitome of morality in public life.
