A man was found dead in a banana field near Allipuram village of Ashwaraopet Mandal. The locals saw the body on Friday afternoon and informed the police. CI Ravi Kumar and SI Srinu inspected the spot and enquired the locals.

The deceased was identified as Prem (33) of Seedara village of Kukkunooru Mandal in West Godavari district of AP. A case was registered and an investigation is on.
