The Minister was speaking after distributing appointment orders to 242 engineers in civil and mechanical wings under Zone 5 and 6. The jobs include 112 in civil and 12 in mechanical under Zone 5 and 106 civil and 12 assistant in mechanical under Zone 6.
So far, the State government has taken an initiative to complete the exercise to fill 40,000 posts, Harish Rao stated. Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said, “Chandrasekhar Rao is an engineer with complete information and understanding of all the projects. He has plans to redesigning the projects to cater to future needs.”
The Chief Minister had envisioned to irrigate one crore acres of land in future by completing irrigation projects and lakes revival programme under the flagship project of Mission Bhagiratha, he said. Accordingly, the State government had taken up redesigning of the projects to increase to great extent the farm activities, he added.
