As Telangana state is heading towards celebrating the second year of formation on June 2nd, the people of the state have another reason to celebrate as Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been voted as the most popular Chief Minister of the Country. The survey conducted by a popular magazine, India Today had KCR lead by 86 percent as people expressed satisfaction with his rule.

The chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee followed KCR in the next positions while AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu grabbed 69 percent votes. KCR who once led the rigorous Telangana movement has managed to grab popularity with his vision and efforts to develop the state in all means that have earned him a lot of praise.

With the giant IT industries like Apple all set to launch centers in the state and the rapid pace of the developmental activities taking place, KCR emerged as the most popular CM in India.
