Dignitaries unveil constable's statue

Nakerakal: Bhonagiri MP Boora Narsaiah Goud and District Superintendent of Police Prakash Reddy unveiled the statue of late constable Nagaraju at his native place Atipamula of Kattangur mandal on Wednesday.

They lauded the services of Nagaraju as a responsible constable.

Nagaraju died in exchange of fire with SIMI terrorists at Janakipuram of Athmakur police limits last year.

To remember the sacrifice of his son Nagaraju Chegoni Srimannarayana made a bronze statue with an estimated cost of Rs 6.50 lakh.
As a part of the event a CD was also released by guests of the programme.

In this programme Nakerakal MLA Vemula Veeresham, ASP Gangaram and locals in large numbers participated.
