Hyderabad: Hussaini Alam police arrested three persons including a site engineer and a builder of a building that collapsed on Saturday. Two persons died and seven others were injured in the mishap.
Site engineer Shiva Kumar, builder Ameenuddin and centering in-charge Anant Reddy were arrested for causing death of two labourers due to negligence.
The trust member Shiva Kumar Bung has been absconding and a team is searching for him, said Inspector Shyamsunder. The slab of the building being constructed illegally by Maheshwari Seva Trust at Hussaini Alam collapsed just after two hours of construction on Saturday.
Police said that a case was pending in the court regarding the ownership of the land between GHMC and the trust.
