Accused in Mounika murder case held

Karimnagar: The police busted the case of kidnapping of housewife Mounika of Desaipeta village in Medipalli mandal and found that the housewife was murdered by none other than her father
Bhumalla Mallayya.
According to reports, Mallayya went to Mounika’s house on Saturday to take her home for the inauspicious Telugu month of Ashadham’. En route, he attempted to outrage her modesty. When Mounika resisted, he strangulated her to death with the help of her sari.
Later, he complained to the police stating that two persons had kidnapped Mounika.The police discovered Mounika’s body near Desaipeta. Upon interrogation, Mallayya revealed all the details and was taken into custody.
