Warangal: Rich tributes were paid to former chief minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy on the occasion of his 67th birth anniversary here on Friday. Commemorating the birth anniversary, the YCRCP district unit leaders have organised a celebration at Kakatiya University. The party spokesperson Ch Amarender Reddy and others cut a cake marking the occasion.

Both the states should adopt the former CM’s developmental and welfare aspirations for the benefit of common people, he said.The party leaders J Siva, D Sudharshan Reddy, A Raju and others were present.

Similarly, the City Congress working president Rajanala Srihari and the party SC Cell leaders J Raju, E Madhu, B Prasad, Jannu Ravi, G Sudhakar, A Arogyam and others have cut a cake at Labour Colony of Deshaipet in Warangal.

Later they visited the local ESI Hospital and distributed fruits to the patients there. Speaking on the occasion Srihari described YSR as a great leader who dedicated his life for the welfare of the people.

The public in both AP and Telangana still remember the welfare measures like fee reimbursement, Arogyasri and others programmes launched during YSR regime. He was a leader of the masses and his sudden death was a great loss to the people, Srihari added.
