Reviewing the progress of works, along with Minister for Roads and Buildings Tummala Nageswara Rao here on Sunday, he advised the agencies carrying the works to engage more machinery to expedite the laying of pipeline works.
“The laying of pipeline between Palair and Madiripuram should be completed by September,” he instructed the officials. Referring to the five mandals that have been brought under Mission Bhagiratha programme, he told the officials to launch the works immediately.
Assuring cooperation from the R&B department if there was any need to cut the roads for laying of pipelines, Tummala Nageswara Rao told the officials to carry out the works without any pendency.
Later, Prashanth Reddy interacted with the officials eliciting information about the progress of structures and supply network works.
MLC Balasani Lakshminarayana, Zilla Parishad chairperson G Kavitha, CE Ashok, officer on special duty Satyapal Reddy and vice-chairman of ZP Sambasiva Rao were present.
