Haritha Haram rally by Sri Chaitanya
The rally passed through the ZP office, the Collectorate, Illandu crossroads, SP Stadium, NSP Road and Lakshminarasimha Swamy Gutta. The students held placards urging everyone to plants saplings. ​Khammam: The students, staff and teachers of Sree Chaitanya Educational Institutions on Saturday took out a rally here from Wyra Road to Ambedkar statue to propagate the State government’s prestigious Haritha Haram programme.
The rally passed through the ZP office, the Collectorate, Illandu crossroads, SP Stadium, NSP Road and Lakshminarasimha Swamy Gutta. The students held placards urging everyone to plants saplings. Chairman of Sri Chaitanya group Mallempalli Sridhar, Director Srividya, Principals Brahmam, Prakash and Joji, besides teachers were present. Addressing the participants, Sridhar advised people to take up massive tree plantation to protect the environment and prevent pollution. He raised slogan ‘Pachchani Chettu Pragatiki Mettu’, along with the students.
