​Nalgonda: An incident where a housewife has been sexually exploited by seven men for three months in Nalgonda city came to light on Friday when the victim’s husband approached the police for justice.

According to Nalgonda two-town SI Nagadurga Prasad, the victim, native of Halia mandal, has been living at Shamshernagar of BTS colony in the city, along with her family.

Ramana, resident of the same colony befriended with her and has been exploiting her sexually for the past three months by threatening her of killing her husband and children. In unavoidable circumstances she surrendered to him.

On one occasion, Ramana disclosed his affair to his six friends – Durgaiah, Venkateswarlu, Lingaiah, Srinu, Shankar and another. Taking the advantage of the victim’s fear, Ramana’s friends also sexually abused her.

Unable to bear anymore, the woman told her husband her agony. The husband was shocked and registered a complaint against Ramana and his friends with two-town police station. The police registered a case under gang rape section IPC 376 (D) and the victim was sent to district government hospital for tests and medical treatment.
