​Hyderabad: Heavy rains lashed Adilabad on Saturday with Asifabad recording 12 cm of rainfall, followed by Manthani in Karimnagar and Suryapet in Nalgonda both receiving 8 cm of rainfall each. Meanwhile, the Met department on Saturday warned of heavy rains at isolated places in all districts on Sunday and Monday.

The department said the depression from Chhattisgarh to south Tamil Nadu across coastal Andhra Pradesh will result in light to moderate rain or thunder showers at many places in Telangana from Sunday to Tuesday. It said there would be no major change during the subsequent three days.

The chief amount of rainfall recorded (in cm) the state were: Nizamabad 6, Kampasagar 5, Tandur and Navipet 4 each, Ranjal, Thollada, Mudhole, Boath, Yedapalle, Gundala, Jakranpalle, Kosgi, Khanapur, Gudur and Ganded 3 each.

There was 2 cm of rain each in Chennur, Mahabubabad, Kothagudem, Nallabelly, Bheemgal, Chinthakam, Bodhan, Mominpet, Dichpalle, Heemadevarpalle, Makloor and Ghattu. Kusumanchi, Shayampet, Bhupalpalle, Govindaraopet, Mahbubnagar, Utnoor, Kothagudem, Kodangal, Ramgundam, Atmakur, Saroornagar, etc.
